During Block’s Investor Day, this was the final question posed to Jack Dorsey live in person:
Jeff Cantwell, Seaport Research Partners: “Jack, this is probably the most important question you’ll ever get asked from the sell side, are you Satoshi Nakamoto?”
Jack Dorsey: “On the Satoshi question, the most beautiful thing about Bitcoin is that question does not matter at all anymore. It’s an open protocol taken over by a community that wants to see an alternative to an option. And if it was important to Satoshi, there’s a simple way they can prove who they are. So we’ll wait for that day.”
Amrita Ahuja, COO & CFO at Block: “Maybe one last thing, Jack probably doesn’t want me to say this. He may or may not be Satoshi, but it is his birthday today, so what better way to celebrate with than with 200 of your closest friends? Hopefully you see him down in the demo Hall.
