It’s a case of life imitating art. Three months after I produced a video about a fictional entrepreneur named Jeremy getting his social media username taken away, it happened for real to a guy named Jeremy.
16 years ago, I created @music and have been running it ever since. Just now, Twitter / X just ripped it away.

Back in April I had even made a fake call to action about this very situation, making my slogan “we are all Jeremy”

In response, users on X told the real life Jeremy that he should be using a web3 username like a .eth going forward.
